May

Here we are, the first of May, as with every other month, it seems May has snuck up on us. At least it brought up a little rain with it on the 2nd day. I am looking for more and more rain as we need it, the plants need it, the grass definitely needs it, and I am sure the forest animals need their drinking holes filled with clean water from Heaven.

We recently had to make a trip to North Carolina for a celebration of life for a dear friend of ours. There were a lot of people there talking about how dry it was and that they were also praying for rain. On the day of the celebration, it rained. It was so beautiful to see everything getting watered and a few cars being washed off.

If you have prayer request, please get in touch with Candy. Candy is heading up our Prayer and Praise reports. We want to pray for you and more importantly, we want to know when and how those Prayers are being answered.

Shavuot is just around the corner; we have a team that assembled that has had the first meeting. If you have Godly input, it would be a great idea to speak up before we have this festival. Afterwards is not the time to say, “we should have done this” … This is the “feast of weeks” better known as “Pentecost” to the world. It sounds like it is shaping up nicely and there is a little bit for everyone. Don’t miss out.

Don’t forget that if you need to speak to Pastor Charles or Pastor Tim: the Office number is (352) 687- 4434.

We are lacking in attendance; I am reaching out to you to invite guest to come and fellowship with us. Oneg is the first and 3rd Shabbat. These are great times to invite people to come and fellowship. If you want 1 person to come, then you will need to invite 10 different people. We are called to go and preach to the nations; this also means for us to invite people to come and hear God’s Word. When you are in a relationship, you want people to know and to be happy for you, right? There is no difference with your relationship with Jesus, this is even more important to share with others. Believe me when I say, “Heaven is big enough for all to reside in”.

Come and join us at 9:00 AM on day 7 (Shabbat) for learning all about forgiveness. Then at 10:30 AM for Worship and Praise.

Wednesday at 10:00 am for Coffee and Tea with Pastor Tim. This is the best time to get to know the Pastor and other congregants. We find a topic and see what The Word has to say about it.

Wednesday evening, we give a word of encouragement to get you through the week

Thursdays at 10:00 am to noon we clean God’s House of Prayer; you may even meet a new friend or two.

In Christ Love, Pastor Tim
