February
Welcome to February 2026!
I can’t remember when a January closed, and a February opened with such cold weather. It is true what people say about Florida weather, if you don’t like it wait 10 minutes and it will change. That certainly seems to be our case. The morning starts in the 20’s and by noon it’s in the 50’s and sometimes 60’s. 60’s I can take, 30’s not so much. The good thing is we can control the warmth in our homes, and in our hearts.
Just recently we took up a love offering for a church in Kenya, Pastor Joseph Luvai, the church name is Harmony Rival Church, the city is Nakuru. They have a tin building they meet in, with a concreate floor and some seating. They average about 70-80 people per week. The building cost them about $4,451.79 KES, which is about $35.00 USD.
The pastor tries to work 2-3 jobs and is dedicated to the Lord’s work. I would encourage you to friend request Pastor Joseph and or their church. It will bless your heart, but more so it would bless them to know that around the world they are loved, and people care about them. It’s a great way to show God’s love.
We are continuing to support Missions work monthly, we spend about $123.00 per month and I would like to see this increase, because if we can’t go ourselves, we should support those that can. This is part of telling the nations the Good News of Jesus and what He has done, to have a relationship with us and the world.
We will be finishing up the “BE PREPARED” series the first week of February. Our last in the series is, “Are You Prepared For Jesus”. This is the most important chapter of the series. I don’t know about you but through this series the Holy Spirit has been talking to me through the study of “Being Prepared”. It’s been an exciting series and I trust you have learned something, just as I have. If you ever want a copy of the teaching, I can print them for you. I have been asked to do this, as I sometimes rattle off scripture a little too fast and those taking notes don’t always get the full scripture. This is encouraging to me when people ask so they can dig in deeper to the teaching.
Wednesday mornings and afternoons are also very enjoyable to me, and I encourage you to join us! Wednesday morning is a light get together designed to bring people together. There is no telling what is going to come up, and what we will be speaking about. Whatever the topic is, we look to what the scripture says. It truly is a learning time, about people and The Word. Wednesday evening is a short recap of Saturdays teaching where we learn some take aways to put into practice for the rest of the week. We stream this on FaceBook, and it is a live interactive teaching.
We invite you to come and grow in Gods Word with us!
With much love,
Pastor Tim
